It is so fun to see and be a part of Dawson's imagination. Lately, he's been pretending to be Mr. Noodle from Sesame Street. If I mistakenly call him Dawson, he'll correct me by saying, "No, I'm Mr. Noodle." Other times, he's a doctor, a pirate, a dog, or a fish. He really enjoys pretending to be a fish when we're at the pool. And apparently fish like to get a big mouth full of water and spew it on their mom. :-)

Another favorite imaginative game of late is pretending to jump off the diving board. The couch is the diving board and the floor below is the pool. He'll jump on the couch and then launch himself into the "pool." And it's not as fun to jump off the diving board by himself so mom has to do it to. Then we swim and splash in the pool. Oh, the joys of toddlerhood.
