Fun-Filled Day

I often plan "fun days" for Dawson which include all kinds of fun activities that he'll enjoy and absolutely no boring errands. We usually head to Conroe or The Woodlands where there are many fun children's activities to choose from.

Today we ventured to The Woodlands, where we played at Pump It Up, splashed around in the fountains at The Market, had a picnic lunch, went to the mall to visit the pet store, played at the big tree playground, rode the carousel, played trains and read books at Barnes & Noble, and then we ended the day at Northshore park where we played on the playground, fed the ducks, and then chased the ducks. :-) We had a great time!

WOW!! That's one heck of a day! I'm guessing he's beyond naps these days. What time does he go to bed after a day like this?

These fun days certainly disrupt his napping. He usually naps from about 12:00 to 1:15, but on major outings like this his nap consists of 30 minutes in the car and then he has an earlier bedtime (around 7:00 instead of 8:00). And after all the excitement he goes right to sleep and sleeps pretty soundly through the night. :-)
