7 Months Old

Brady is now a very active 7 month old. He is crawling all over the house, pulling up, and walking slowly while holding onto furniture. He desperately wants to walk but still lacks the balance. He loves holding onto our fingers and walking speedily throughout the house. He's also trying to climb up onto things. The other day he spent 20 minutes standing beside the bathtub, lifting his leg up and trying to climb in. And he is almost able to climb the stairs, which is a scary thought.

He's also very verbal. He'll "ohh" and "ahh" very loudly as though he's talking to his toys. He is able to say "mama" and does so correctly, when he's looking at me, reaching for me, or crawling toward me. It's so sweet!!!

Brady continues to get more teeth. He now has another bottom tooth, bringing his teeth total to a whopping 7, which is a lot of teeth for such a young baby. He's been using his teeth to try all kinds of new foods. He much prefers real food to the mushy baby food so we usually just feed him whatever we are eating. So far, he hasn't refused anything. He'll eat peas, carrots, green beans, broccoli, even meat. Hopefully his good eating habits will continue.

Brady is very social, loves being around people, and always has a smile for anyone who talks to him and smiles at him. He's clearly attached to us and will sometimes cry when we leave the room. He's particularly found of his big brother and their interactions are so precious. We have such sweet boys!
