Fair on the Square

We went to the annual Huntsville Fair on the Square on Saturday. We don't really browse the vendor booths, but do really enjoy the children's area. Dawson had a great time at the craft booth. He made a wooden fire station bank (actually hammed in nails to build it, which he loved), colored a superhero mask, and made a bracelet. He also spent a lot of time on the inflatable bouncer and big blow-up slide. It was a fun-filled morning!

Ready to build with his Home Depot apron and hammer.

Really concentrating on hammering the nails.

Down the big slide.

Showing me his balloon art - it was a fishing pole with a fish hanging off the end.

It's hard to see, but he chose to have a goldfish painted on his cheek in honor of his beloved pet Jack.
