Christmas Morning

This year was the best Christmas we've had. Both boys really enjoyed opening their gifts and were so excited and joyful and appreciative. Randy and I also exchanged some wonderful, thoughtful gifts. The Christmas feast (for 4) was delicious. And we had an amazing day at home playing and enjoying each other. It was an incredible Christmas day and we are so thankful for our many blessings.

Christmas gifts awaiting the boys.

He loves football and while he has Dallas Cowboys apparel, he wanted a Houston Texans shirt too so he could support "the other Texas team." Of course, we know who the best Texas team is. :-)

Playing at Nanny's House

The boys and I drove up to Frisco for the day to celebrate Christmas with my family. It was a short stay, but a lot of fun.

Admiring Nanny's Christmas village.

It was just too tempting - they had to bring their toys over to the village to play.

Brady was really looking forward to playing with Nanny's trains.

Having Caselyn's little pony ride the train.

Playing Caselyn's memory game.

Chance and Dawson playing baseball on the Wii.

And now trying the hat on himself.

Present Time!

My family has always enjoyed giving lots of gifts at Christmas and this year was no exception. They really spoiled the boys. And of course they enjoyed every minute of it. I loved the excitement and joy they got out of each gift. Even though they are spoiled, they are extremely appreciative.

Dawson picked out a special gift for Aunt Julie this year - a Lite Brite. Can you tell how excited she is? What a fun aunt!

Giving Brady a hug and thanking him for the present.

Dawson's first present - an inflatable car that you can plug your Wii remote into when you play Mario Kart. Now all he needs is the Mario Kart game (wink, wink).

Dawson was very excited to get the new Imaginext toy (robot police). Thanks, Julie!
