Fair on the Square

We look forward to Fair on the Square every year. We don't visit any of the crafty books, and instead spend our time in the children's area. There is so much fun stuff to do and we had a great time. :-)

Sarah and Dawson were fascinated with the piglets. They were able to observe and pet these in the corner, but the others running around the pen were too fast for them.

There was a train ride this year!!

First Day of Fall Fun

We celebrated the first day of fall with an awesome outing to the Huntsville State Park. It's a beautiful place, the weather was perfect, and we were joined by many wonderful friends. We hiked about a mile and a half on one of the trails, picnicked by the lake, played at the playground, and ended with swimming in the lake and playing in the sand. It ranks as one of our most favorite days ever!! We were all so thankful that we homeschool and have the opportunity to spend an entire day outside playing and celebrating special days like this.

3 Year Olds

Three of the most awesome 3 year olds!! We celebrated their big transition to 3 year old with a fun play date at the park.
