Brady's Drawing

Brady's beautiful drawing - a person, sun, cookie, and door.  He drew a line and had me write my name on it because he drew it especially for me.  Sweet, sweet boy!

Movie Night

Ready for a special Narnia movie night with friends Cameron and Anna, after we all read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

When Dad's Away

When Randy went away on a trip, the boys and I planned some fun activities.  Dawson marked them off with a smiley face after we did them.

Super Long Train Track

Flag Football

Dawson is very excited to be playing flag football this year.  He's having fun and doing great!

Ready for his first practice.

Throwing the football around with his teammates.

Dawson as the center in one of the practice scrimmages.

His team is the Miami Dolphins.

The first game.

Both teams saying a prayer before the game.

Dawson and teammates cheering on their team on the field.  I love Dawson's excitement - jumping up an down.

Getting the play from their coach.

Lined up and ready to go.
Unfortunately, my camera batteries died after this so I didn't get any great action shots of the first game.  But Dawson did well - he caught the only pass in the game and when he was on defense he pulled a flag to stop a runner.  More importantly, he had a fantastic time.  We're looking forward to more flag football!

Fun in the Sand

Silly Boys

7 Acre Wood

We celebrated a great first week of school with a family outing to 7 Acre Wood.  It was a wonderful time, as always.

The boys in their "Dad's Team" t-shirts, all looking very handsome.

Checking out the adorable little donkeys in the petting zoo area.

Love this picture of Brady talking to the donkey.

Our little goat friend.

And the sweet cat that followed us around and even endured Brady's poor putts.

The cat's turn to play with Brady's ball.

Dawson LOVES mini golf.  He must have played 5 rounds while we were there.

It's the Cozy Coup police!

Brady at his food shop, which apparently has any kind of food you could possibly ever want.

Walking the "plank" of his pirate ship.  He has a great imagination and we're always going on adventures together, wherever we are.

Brady's pirate face.  Ferocious, isn't it?

Dawson and Randy bopping the ball around.

The zip line, another super fun activity at 7 Acre Wood.

Woo-hoo!

Brady up high.

A pirate ship - perfect for our little pirate.

Cute, cute, cute!
