This year our family had the best, most amazing 4th of July celebration! We celebrated with our friends the Montgomery's at their beautiful lakeside house. Aimee made hot dogs and hamburgers (and even made her own buns!!), Lorne provided the kids with sparklers, and we all enjoyed sitting on the dock by the lake and watching the fireworks show (put on by a few wealthy neighbors across the lake). This was a special celebration for many reasons - we were with some incredible friends, the setting was absolutely beautiful, and we had an up-close view of the best firework show in town (better than that put on by the City of Huntsville).
