Last year we had a New Years Eve countdown until 12:00 noon for the boys and some of their friends. It was great, complete with crafts, writing resolutions, a balloon drop, yummy food, drinks from "fancy" plastic cups. This year, after we lost an entire month of our lives to home remodeling, I didn't have the time or energy to plan such a bash (boo!!!). However, the boys did have their friends, Seth and Cy, sleep over the night before so we did a mini New Years celebration with them. Next year, we're going for the big bash again! But this year's small celebration was still fun and special.
