Scout Museum

While in the Dallas area, we stopped by the Scout Museum.  It was a really great experience!  Dawson and Brady each did a scavenger hunt while exploring the exhibits, which helped them to focus on the details.  By completing the tour and finishing their scavenger hunts, they earned the National Scout Museum Belt Loop and an achievement ribbon for our local Pack.

We got a guided tour of the Normal Rockwell artwork, which was incredible! The exhibits were really impressive - such a great collection of scout memorabilia and informative and appealing displays. There was a fun hands-on area where the boys practiced their marksmanship, raced pinewood derby cars, and practiced canoeing and kayaking.  And we also enjoyed a video about the scout adventure camps across the county.  It was a memorable experience.
