Jewel Cave

Near Custer State Park, is this really great national monument, Jewel Cave.  Dawson had ready about it in a book and was eager to see it for himself.  It is the 2nd longest cave in the country and the 4th longest in the world.  We went on the discovery cave tour, learned the story about how it was discovered (and how many more passageways and rooms continue to be discovered), and saw some of its many cool rock formations.
