I went to Richmond, VA to visit my mom and run my first ever full marathon!! It was special to get to spend some one-on-one time with my mom, see some of the beautiful and historic city of Richmond, and have my mom cheer my on in my first attempt at a full marathon. I enjoyed and did well for the first 20 miles of the marathon, but those last 6.2 were brutal. Still, I did it and am thankful to have completed a long-time goal. :-)
