I went to Richmond, VA to visit my mom and run my first ever full marathon!! It was special to get to spend some one-on-one time with my mom, see some of the beautiful and historic city of Richmond, and have my mom cheer my on in my first attempt at a full marathon.  I enjoyed and did well for the first 20 miles of the marathon, but those last 6.2 were brutal.  Still, I did it and am thankful to have completed a long-time goal.  :-)

This display was so neat!  Every marathon runner's name was printed on the picture.

And there was my name.

Post-race, posing by the sign that my mom had made for me and staked outside her house.  The marathon course went right in front of her house, which was awesome!
