Inks Lake State Park

For this RV trip, we stayed at Inks Lake State Park, using it as our home base and taking a few mini trips to some nearby state parks.  We visited 5 state parks on this trip, bringing our grand total of Texas state parks visited to 45.  Woo-hoo!

Inks Lake is a very popular state park and was therefore pretty crowded (too crowded for our taste), but we did enjoy the lake and had a couple of good hikes.

Hiking on the rocky terrain was fun.

Brady especially liked running, jumping, and exploring the rocky area.

Climbing a rock.

Randy and I at the top.

A little rest along the way.

The boys leading the way.

The shrubby, rocky views along our hike.

The boys having a little snack mid-hike.

The geese wandering around our campsite.

More geese.

Having a snow cone on the back porch of the state park store.
